I recently happened to catch some cool 3D animated bumpers on Saturday
morning cartoons. It was on a local CBS station (Channel 11 for you
northwest Washingtonians), during a portion of their morning cartoon set
that they call "The Action Zone". The Action Zone opener, and the "We'll
be right back"/"Now back to the show" bumpers looked like Lightwave
material after seeing some LW "giveaways" upon single-frame examination:
stepped motion-blur, variations on the Generic Panels texture, and the
ever-present lens flares. Can anybody verify if these are Lightwaved?
Also, while talking about motion blur, is the "stepped" method of LW's
motion-blur common in other 3D programs? I just was wondering if this
motion-blur technique isn't as Lightwave-original as I'm assuming in the
above example.
